GeoOne Performance and Emissions – Vessel Analytics

GeoOne is pleased to announce the release of its new Vessel Analytics feature which moves performance reporting from retrospective review to proactive performance management.

The vessel release makes Vessel-level analytics available first, accessed from the Track screen through Vessel Analytics cards, down to the vessel and its voyages. Fleet-level dashboards with customizable fleets will follow in a phased manner, with new charts and KPIs added progressively.

The new Analytics features also brings our proprietary Digital Twin program online with predictions updated live and benchmarking with the vessel’s technical capabilities presented for key performance metrics.

Navigating from the Track screen to Vessel Analytics

Analytics is organized into dedicated Operational, Environmental and Technical views. Every vessel is benchmarked against its own type and size class and against peers in the operator’s fleet. The benchmarks sit directly inside KPI cards, trend plots and contextual views such as laden/ballast, weather and ECA, so operators/superintendents see where a vessel stands without running a separate comparison.

Operational, Environmental and Technical views

The Operational module is designed to help operators assess their vessels’ performance, w.r.t. the charter party warranties and clauses and simulate speed & consumption under various conditions.

Operational Analytics view

The Emissions module consolidates all the emissions KPIs and commercial exposure due to emissions in one space to eliminate navigating to various modules within the platform.

Environmental Analytics view

The Technical module now deep dives into various aspects of vessel performance, including but not limited to hull and main engine assessment, with key metrics like RPM, Power, SFOC analyzed and compared to sea trial and shop test benchmarks.

Technical Analytics view

Each chart now has a Deep Dive view, for exploring the detail behind a KPI. Filters recalculate results from the underlying data instead of only hiding points, so every figure stays consistent with the selection. Both the main charts and Deep Dive offer Data Export, a CSV of exactly what is on screen after filters are applied. Operators can also configure dashboards, choosing the metrics and comparison base that matter most to their fleet.

How This Helps Users?

Underperformance surfaces faster, with context.Instead of paging through static MIS reports to spot a lagging vessel, operators see it flagged against a fleet or class benchmark right inside the KPI card or trend plot they’re already looking at.

Comparisons hold up under scrutiny.Because filters recalculate the underlying data rather than just hiding points, and HCR conditions are applied consistently from one shared definition, the numbers an operator uses to compare vessels — or to discuss speed/consumption with a charterer — are defensible, not an artifact of what was hidden on screen.

Answers without leaving the screen.Deep dive and Expand let an operator drill from a fleet-level view into voyage-level detail without a separate tool or a request to a BI analyst.

Data can be extracted cleanly. The CSV export gives operators exactly what’s on screen, post-filter, so they can drop it into their own reporting or share it with owners and charterers without re-requesting a custom pull from IT or a BI team.

Dashboards match what each user wants.Configurable metrics and comparison bases, plus a recommended-but-editable comparison set, mean an operator managing an LNG carrier isn’t stuck with the same fixed view as one managing a bulker.
